On Friday November 7, Recyc'Elit hosted the 3rd COPIL of the CASTTOR project, co-financed by ADEME as part of France2030.
An opportunity to take stock, mid-project, of the results obtained and the next tasks to be carried out by the various partners: Recyc'Elit, IFTH, Axel'One and De Dietrich.
On the Recyc'Elit side, after reaching a key stage: the installation of the pre-industrial recycling demonstrator and the first depolymerization tests, it will be time to study in more depth the transfer of the process at the scale of the demonstrator and to carry out tests for the reintegration of the recycled polymers obtained, especially in the textile sector.
Collectively, we are conducting a global Life Cycle Assessment (from the collection to the valorization of co-materials); this has already begun, with the support of EVEA, and will continue until the end of the project.
