On June 18, 2026, the first edition of the ORÉE x ITECH Lyon technical day took place, organized with the support of ADEME and dedicated to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), particularly High-Visibility Clothing (HVC). Indeed, it is crucial to find alternatives to the incineration of professional textiles.

Topics included legislation, ecodesign (Resortecs), repair, and recycling.

Clara Potton presented very encouraging results obtained from experiments conducted during the FREPI project, including those achieved by Recyc'Elit on the recycling of reflective strips.

Inspiring initiatives were presented, such as the linen-based uniforms of the SNCF Group, produced by CEPOVETT Group.

A key message was: for the industry to progress, there is a need for BOLDNESS from ordering parties, coupled with technological innovations driven by players like Recyc'Elit. It is this combination that allows a technical challenge to be transformed into a real industrial solution.

In the afternoon, Marine PERRAUD, Collaborative Projects and Partnerships Manager at Recyc'Elit, presented our chemical recycling technology, which, on the one hand, allows for the processing of complex textiles, such as PPE, and, on the other hand, provides high-quality recycled raw materials, such as recycled polyester or recycled cotton, that can be reintroduced into industrial production chains.

The entire Recyc'Elit team is ready to engage with ambitious ordering parties to bring to life projects we will be proud of because they will have transformed the industry.
